Spent an awesome evening on Friday.  Went to Winnipeg  with my boys, Dean & Noah, to do a little bit of shopping at Walmart and the VV Boutique (value village, lol).  Then out to supper at the boys favorite restaurant...McDonald's.  I tried those new mini chicken subs, boy are they small, didn't have any special sauces, just mayo.  They aren't too bad, just tiny!

After supper we went to my ex-sister-in-laws house for a visit and to drop off Noah to stay there for the long weekend.  Kelly and I are now more like sisters, we are closer now than when she was married to my brother.  And because my brother and my parents have disowned  Kelly and my nephew Brityn because the courts are making him pay his child support payments.  They say he should not have to pay because he has so little.  Kelly already dropped the thirty thousand dollars that he was in arrears for while he was in jail.  Goodness sakes its his kid, why should he get off scott free and not pay his kid some support!!  I even went to court on Brityns behalf so that Grant could not get visitation because he still had outstanding warrants out for his arrest.  What would happen if he got pulled over and got re-arrested while Brit was with him.  And with grants record, he would probably run from the police with Brit in the vehicle with him.  Also at that time grant was living on a reserve.
So he then got his wages garnished and once he cleared up all his outstanding warrants, he could go back to court and ask for visitation again.  Well, that was over a year ago and he hasn't done either of those things!!

So grant has not seen him  in probably almost 3 years.  And now my parents haven't seen Brit either because they were mad at Kelly for the child support.  If that were my son, I would kick his ass and tell him to start getting his life back on track and support his kid.  Not hide my fugitive son in  my basement so that the cops can't find him to arrest him.  They are also jeopardizing there chances of getting caught hiding him and that could screw up their chances of going back and forth from the states.  I just don't get how they could turn there grandson out like that!!  Kelly has never said that could not see Brityn, they could go watch him play hockey or ask for a visit even if they don't like Kelly.  But I guess I shouldn't be surprised because they did the same thing to my boys when Alli left, they didn't speak to the boys for 6 months and when I questioned them why, they said that the boys ignored them first and that the boys could have called them to talk.  Yeah whose the adults here!!  But that's a whole other long story for another time!!

And now grant has a new baby, but went back to his old ways and apparently there are more warrants out for his arrest, for what now...I heard it has to do with guns and stuff??  So now he is on the run again, leaving the house in Dominion City that mom and dad bought for him, are paying his mortgage and bills,  him and his 23 year old girlfriend and the baby are hiding once again at mom and dads.  He lost his job for my cousin, because grant has screwed him over too, again.  Now Brityn's child support has stopped again and he has to pay for his fathers stupidity again.  When this all first happened, Kelly had to avoid Brit's questions as to why his grandparents and his real dad didn't love him anymore.  What do you say to that to a boy whose 11 years old.

So Kelly and I have stayed close for all the boys sakes.  If all the boys still have each other, maybe things won't seem to bad.
 I just don't get what goes thru all their minds to behave like this.

Not looking forward to my tests at the Health Science Centre.  They put an IV in and then 30 minutes later they take some blood, 30 minutes later they put something in the IV, and then 30 minutes after that they take more blood.  Then I think I can go home.  Hopefully it goes by fast and doesn't drag on.

Then I am going to have lunch with my ex-sister-in-law, who is like a sister to me!!  Really looking forward to that.  And then some shopping at Wal Mart!!  Not much, but a few things to pick up.
